One weekend it warmed up to 75 and we took a Saturday afternoon trip to the pool.
It seemed that both girls had lost the swimming confidence they'd attained last summer and were all set with their floaties once more.
Evelyn quickly remembered getting around the pool without any help, and then they all got cold and wanted to stay in the hot tub anyway. We also lost Ben's keys either at this pool or outside between home and coming to the pool. We are still missing them unfortunately. The kids had fun though.
Another beach trip. It's so nice and not smoggy here during the winters.
Ben discovered a sandwich shop called Bruxie last fall. He convinced his bike group to ride there one day and they now make regular stops there. The bread in the sandwich is replaced by a waffle. Pretty good stuff.
One of Gordon's first Sundays in Sunbeams. He was okay the first Sunday, and after that things have been a bit bumpy on Sundays. He will ask, "Is it church day?" and if I say yes, he'll respond with "NO!" or a whiny, "Uhhhhh." Or he'll growl. Sundays are not his favorite day of the week.
Christmas card door. I love it!
A position we often find Evelyn in. She reads pretty much anything. Her favorites right now are mystery books, which subsequently make her feel nervous and paranoid about being by herself in a room.
Jillian used some left-over cupcake liners to create hats for her Littlest Petshops. She likes to create little art projects, draw, and is currently interested in folding and cutting out snowflakes. She's done really well in Kindergarten so far.
